     Of Wiscasset. Miles Carleton married Miriam Sewall, daughter of Stephen Sewall and Abigail Bartlett, on 1 October 1811 in Hallowell, Maine.¹ Miles Carleton died on 28 November 1813.²

     Sarah E. Carleton married Guy Dunham Morse, son of Nathaniel Morse and Lucinda M. Young, on 16 April 1886 in Bath, Maine.¹

     Emma C. Carlile was born circa January 1851 in Nova Scotia.² She was the daughter of George Carlile.¹ Emma C. Carlile married James D. Morse, son of Nathaniel Morse and Harriet Mary Ann Drummond Sewall, on 28 January 1873 in Cambridge, Massachusetts.¹

     John Carlile was born on 11 February 1756.² He was the son of John Carlile and Elizabeth Smith.² John Carlile married Abigail Sewall, daughter of Henry Sewall and Abigail Titcomb, in 1778.^1,2

     John Carlile was born on 18 September 1725 in York, Maine.¹ He married Elizabeth Smith in September 1751.¹

     Evelyn Carlson was born circa 1901 in Minnesota.² She married Ralph Benford Sewall, son of Leon Benford Sewall and Gertrude Sophie Gulbranson, on 4 December 1920 in Hennepin County, Minnesota.¹ Evelyn Carlson died on 8 January 1924 in Hennepin County, Minnesota.³

     Mary Hilma Carlson was born in 1876.¹ She married William Dana, son of William Dana and Frances Maria Nye.¹

     Tillie Marie Carlson was born on 14 January 1906.¹ She married M. John Stewart circa 1930.² Tillie Marie Carlson married David Patrick Sewall, son of Frank Lincoln Sewall and Catherine Vlcek, on 15 December 1962 in Carlton County, Minnesota,³ and is buried in Lake Nebagamon Cemetery, Lake Nebagamon, Douglas County, Wisconsin.⁴ Tillie Marie Carlson died on 21 March 1982 probably in Lake Nebagamon, Douglas County, Wisconsin, at the age of 76 though there is also a record for Saint Louis County, Minnesota.^5,1

     Hannah Carlton married William Fullerton Gilmore, son of William Gilmore and Elizabeth Fullerton, on 30 July 1793 in Woolwich, Sagadahoc County, Maine.^1,2 Hannah Carlton died on 10 January 1794 in Maine.¹

     Anna Carmick married James Horatio Watmough, son of Capt. Edmund Watmough and Maria Ellis, on 4 March 1784 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.¹

     Hepzibah Carnes was born on 8 January 1739 in Boston, Massachusetts.² She was the daughter of John Carnes.³ Hepzibah Carnes married Dr. Charles Coffin, son of Col. Joseph Coffin and Margaret Morse, on 1 July 1773 in Newburyport, Massachusetts.² Hepzibah Carnes died on 17 September 1796 in Newburyport, Massachusetts, at the age of 57⁴ and is buried in First Parish Burying Ground, Newbury, Massachusetts.⁵

     Anne Carpenter married Thomas Cranmer, son of Edmund Cranmer and Alice Sandes.¹ Anne Carpenter died in December 1617 in Canterbury.¹

     Charlotte Carpenter was born in December 1770. She married Sir Walter Scott Bt., son of Walter Scott and Anne Rutherford, on 24 December 1797 in St. Mary's Church, Carlisle. Charlotte Carpenter died on 15 May 1826 at the age of 55.

     Della M. Carpenter was born on 27 May 1859.¹ She married William Francis Davies.¹ Della M. Carpenter died on 10 February 1946 at the age of 86.¹ She married secondly an unknown person in School Street Cemetery, Lebanon, Grafton County, New Hampshire.²

     Rev. Eber Carpenter. Pastor of the First Congregational Parish in York.¹ He was born on 24 June 1800 in Vernon, Tolland County, Connecticut.² He was the son of Reuben Carpenter and Miriam Darte.³ Rev. Eber Carpenter graduated in 1825 from Yale.² He married Narcissa Lyman, daughter of Dr. William Lyman and Hannah Sewall, on 8 May 1832 in York, Maine, (intentions 23 Apr 1832.)^4,3 Rev. Eber Carpenter died on 21 October 1867 in Boston, Massachusetts, at the age of 67 s.n.p. The gravestone giving 20 October⁵ and is buried in First Parish Cemetery, York Village, York County, Maine.⁶

     Elizabeth Carpenter was the daughter of Benjamin Carpenter and Renew Weeks. Elizabeth Carpenter married James Winslow, son of Job Winslow.

     Susan Proctor Carpenter was born on 13 July 1819 in Maine.^1,2 She was the daughter of Deacon Nathan Carpenter.¹ Susan Proctor Carpenter married Benjamin Crosby Sewall, son of Deacon David Sewall and Elizabeth Crosby, on 17 October 1844 in Foxcroft, Maine.^1,3 In circa 1885, the address of Susan Proctor Carpenter and Benjamin Crosby Sewall was 31 Charlotte Avenue, Detroit, Michigan.⁴ Susan Proctor Carpenter died on 30 July 1895 in Detroit, Michigan, at the age of 76.¹

     William Carpenter was the son of Margaret Brown.¹

     Anna Cordelia Carr married Israel Martin Bullock.

     Byron Thorpe Carr was born in 1861 in Illinois.² He married Mary Sewall Buck, daughter of Franklin A. Buck and Jennie M. Pierce, on 30 April 1895.¹ Byron Thorpe Carr died on 17 June 1917 in Seattle, Washington.³

     Emma Carr married Thomas Lusk McCormish.¹

     Frances Jean Carr was born on 15 April 1894 in Launceston, Tasmania.¹ She married Jack Stanley Dean, son of William Boswell Dean and Martha Helen Smith, in 1915.¹ Frances Jean Carr died on 8 February 1945 in Launceston ?, Tasmania, at the age of 50.¹

     George Carr married Ann Cotton, daughter of Rev. Seaborn Cotton and Dorothy Bradstreet, on 8 November 1677 in Salisbury.¹
