Nathan Woodman1

     Nathan Woodman was the son of Nathan Woodman and Olive Gray.1 Nathan Woodman died in 1807 in Saco.1

Was in the Revolutionary Army. Was for some time a sailor, and was for some years insane. Died in 1807. Being in Saco, he went on board a vessel to sleep which had been fumigated with sulphur, to destroy rats, and died from breathing the poisonous atmosphere. His body was brought to his brother's house at Pleasant Point, and he was buried in the grave-yard there. He was never married.1

Limington, that "she died on Fast Day in April, 1840, at her husband's house in Limington, aged about 86 or 87 years. Her marriage with Josiah Black was about thirty years before her death, and was probably solemnized in Standish, just over the river, where Joseph Chase, her first husband, lived." ..... "There are no children living. She is buried on the farm of Josiah Black, in Limington, but there are no grave-stones by which her age can be learned.3

She was born December 25, 1918 in Newark, NJ, the daughter of the late Mr. Thomas Oliver Woodruff and Mrs. Ethel Martha Fredricks Woodruff and was the wife of the late Mr. Stanley Charles Sewall. Mrs. Sewall was a homemaker and a member of Waxhaw RoundTop Baptist Church.
Mrs. Sewall is survived by 2 daughters, Mrs. Mary Ann Payne of the home, and Mrs. Janice Carol Vance of Ft. Smith, AR, 14 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Mrs. Sewall was preceded in death by a son, Marlon Sewall.
The Memorial Funeral Service for Mrs. Sewall will be 11:00 am, Saturday morning, October 12, 2002 at Waxhaw RoundTop Baptist Church by Rev. Frank Barwig.2
