Cecil Burton Winter died on 2 May 1974 in Victoria, British Columbia, at the age of 102.⁴

     Eric Alban Winter was born on 16 June 1902 in Nelson, British Columbia.¹ He was the son of Cecil Burton Winter and Helen Lilian Moore.² Eric Alban Winter married Morna Drummond Macauley Foggo, daughter of William Stewart Foggo and Flora Alexandra Macauley, on 4 June 1930 in Vancouver, British Columbia.³ Eric Alban Winter died on 23 May 1992 in Ganges Saltspring Isle, British Columbia, at the age of 89.⁴

     Major Harrie Sewallis Winter was born on 14 July 1869 in Aldershot, Hampshire, and the birth was registered in the September quarter in the Farnham District.³ He was the son of Lt. Colonel Henry Burton Winter and Maude Lavinia Sewell.⁴ Major Harrie Sewallis Winter was christened on 22 September 1869 at Drayton, Norfolk.⁵ He married Minnie Charlotte Bryan, daughter of Henry Thomas Bryan, on 18 July 1891 in St. Simon's, Liverpool.⁶ Major Harrie Sewallis Winter appeared in the 1901 census at Lower Bebington, Cheshire.⁷ He married secondly Jean Shacklett Brightwell, daughter of Fernando Brightwell and N. Shoemaker, on 19 December 1928 in Los Angeles, California.⁸ Major Harrie Sewallis Winter and Jean Shacklett Brightwell appear on the census of 1930 at Los Angeles, California.⁹ Major Harrie Sewallis Winter died on 23 May 1935 in Los Angeles, California, at the age of 65 from the effects of poison gas during the Great War.^10,11

     Lt. Colonel Henry Burton Winter was born on 19 December 1838 in Norwich, Norfolk.¹ He was the son of James Winter.² Lt. Colonel Henry Burton Winter married Maude Lavinia Sewell, daughter of Sheriff William Smith Sewell and Lavinia Marian Griffin, on 11 July 1867 in Chapel of the Holy Trinity, Québec, the service being conducted by the Rev. E.W. Sewell, uncle of the bride.^3,2 Lt. Colonel Henry Burton Winter and Maude Lavinia Sewell were enumerated in the Census of 1881 living at 7 Bulstrode Terrace, Heston, Middlesex, Henry Winter is listed as Captain, 7th Royal Fusiliers. There is no record in this census entry of any children living with them.⁴ Lt. Colonel Henry Burton Winterappeared in the 1901 census in Cromer, Norfolk. Visiting Robert Balls, a fishmonger, and his family. He is described as a widower and a "retired Lieutenent Colonel in the army."⁵ He appeared in the 1911 census at 73 Thorpe Road, Norwich. His sister is living with him, there are several servants.⁶ He died on 31 May 1915 in Norfolk at the age of 76.¹

     Walter James Winter was born on 11 December 1874 in Norfolk.² He was the son of Lt. Colonel Henry Burton Winter and Maude Lavinia Sewell.¹ Walter James Winter's birth was registered in the quarter ending March 1875 in the St Faiths, Norfolk, registration district.³ He died on 6 April 1893 in Cromer, Norfolk, at the age of 18² and was buried on 11 April 1894 in Drayton, Norfolk.⁴

He was demobilised on 27 July 1919 at Woolwich Dockyard and was granted a disability allowance.
