Webb died on 6 September 1913 at the Buena Vista Spring Hotel, Washington, Franklin County, Pennsylvania, at the age of 577,8,9,2 she is buried in Bryan City Cemetery, Bryan, Brazos County, Texas.10

Mrs. Sewall, with her son, Ben Calhoun, was enjoying a summer trip through the North and East, and when taken ill her daughter, Mrs. David Vinson of Houston, left immediately for her bedside, and both her children were with her when the end came at the hour stated. The funeral services will be held at the late home of Mrs. Sewall in Houston on Wednesday morning. The remains will reach Bryan on the 12:40 p.m. train Wednesday, and the funeral will be held directly from the train, and the services, begun in Houston that morning, will be concluded at the cemetery.
Mrs. Sewall was a resident of Bryan for many years, and large circle of sincere and loving friends in this city who deeply mourn her sad death.
She was a sister of Mrs. J.W. Howell, Mrs. M.H. James and Messrs. Robert S. and J.H. Webb of this city. To the grief-stricken relatives and her beloved children, Mrs. David Vinson and Mr. Ben Calhoun, a host of friends in this city extend loving sympathy.11

Admiral Charles Webber was born on 29 August 1722.2 He was the son of Robert Webber and Mary (Unknown).1 Admiral Charles Webber was christened on 11 September 1722 at St. James, Piccadily, London, one of his God-parents was Charles Lennox, 2nd Duke of Richmond and Gordon.2,3 He married Anne Vining Heron, daughter of Patrick Heron and Martha Bide, on 27 April 1770 in St. Faith's, Havant, Hampshire, the transcription of the same source also gives a date of 27 July 1769.4 Admiral Charles Webber made a will on 8 April 1780. He was appointed on 26 September 1780, Rear Admiral of the White.5 He died on 23 May 1783 in Bryanstone Street, London, at the age of 60; on 21 November of the same year (three days before she remarried) his widow petitioned the government for a pension.6 Probate was granted on 5 June 1783 at London.

In the latter year he was instituted to the vicarage of Great Budworth, in Cheshire, on the presentation of the dean and chapter of Christ Church. He was also prebendary of Somerley in Chichester from July 25, 1827 to 1840, and of Ripon from 28 June 1830.3 Rev. George Henry Webber married Frances Worsley, daughter of Rev. George Worsley and Anne Cayley, on 19 May 1835.3 Rev. George Henry Webber died on 4 March 1858 in Great Budworth, Cheshire, at the age of 57.4

He graduated B.A. on the 31st May, 1791, M.A. on the 6th April, 1796, B.D. on the 16th May, 1807, and D.D. on the 14th May, 1827. At Christ Church he became tutor and censor, and was presented to the perpetual vicarage of the parish church of St. Mary Magdalene, Oxford, 25th January, 1803. On 28th June, 1810, he was presented to the church of Torrington and the chapel of St. Giles in the county of Devon at a stipend of £34 a year, but he was to pay the curate of St. Giles. He was appointed chaplain to Lord Robert Fitzgerald's Embassy at Copenhagen 1795, prebendary of York 1812, and vicar of Sutton-in-the-Forest 1812, chaplain House of Commons 1812, rector of Kirkham, Lancashire, 1813, sub-dean Westminster, prebendary 1816, rector of St. Margaret's, Westminster, 1827-35, dean of Ripon from 1828 until his death.

This is the last will and testament of me, the very Reverend James Webber D D., of Dean's-yard, Westminster, Dean of Ripon, and one of the Prebendaries of the Collegiate Church of St, Peter, Westminster. I give, devise, and bequeath to my wife, Caroline Frances Webber, all my real and personal estate, of whatsoever kind or nature, and wheresoever situate, and all that may be due and coming to me as master of the hospitals of St. Mary Magdalen, and St. John the Evangelist, Ripon; to hold the same unto my said wife, her heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns absolutely, and appoint her sole executrix of this, my will.- Witness my hand this eighteenth day of June, 1847." This venerable dignitary died on the 3d of September last, and besides his estates and property in the province of York, was possessed of personal and funded property within the province of Canterbury, amounting to nearly £4,000. He had held the vicarage of Kirkham, in Lancashire, from the year 1813, the annual value is returned as exceeding £900 with the patronage of seven benefices. He was appointed a Prebendary of Westminster in 1816, and was occupying a prebendary house at Dean's-yard, to which three of the Prebendaries are entitled; from this appointment there is a participation in a large revenue of about £20,000 annually divided among the clergy comprising the Chapter, consisting of the Dean and twelve Prebendaries. In 1828 he was raised to the dignity of Dean of Ripon: attached to this office there is an income of between £300 and £400.7,3,8

He was appointed chaplain to Lord Robert Fitzgerald's Embassy at Copenhagen 1795, prebendary of York 1812, and vicar of Sutton-in-the-Forest 1812, chaplain House of Commons 1812, rector of Kirkham, Lancashire, 1813, sub-dean Westminster, prebendary 1816, rector of St. Margaret's, Westminster, 1827-35, dean of Ripon from 1828 until his death.
Will of the late Dean of Ripon.
This is the last will and testament of me, the very Reverend James Webber D D., of Dean's-yard, Westminster, Dean of Ripon, and one of the Prebendaries of the Collegiate Church of St, Peter, Westminster. I give, devise, and bequeath to my wife, Caroline Frances Webber, all my real and personal estate, of whatsoever kind or nature, and wheresoever situate, and all that may be due and coming to me as master of the hospitals of St. Mary Magdalen, and St. John the Evangelist, Ripon; to hold the same unto my said wife, her heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns absolutely, and appoint her sole executrix of this, my will.- Witness my hand this eighteenth day of June, 1847." This venerable dignitary died on the 3d of September last, and besides his estates and property in the province of York, was possessed of personal and funded property within the province of Canterbury, amounting to nearly £4,000. He had held the vicarage of Kirkham, in Lancashire, from the year 1813, the annual value is returned as exceeding £900 with the patronage of seven benefices. He was appointed a Prebendary of Westminster in 1816, and was occupying a prebendary house at Dean's-yard, to which three of the Prebendaries are entitled; from this appointment there is a participation in a large revenue of about £20,000 annually divided among the clergy comprising the Chapter, consisting of the Dean and twelve Prebendaries. In 1828 he was raised to the dignity of Dean of Ripon: attached to this office there is an income of between £300 and £400.7,3,8

Jemima Anne Caroline Webber was baptised at Westminster Abbey.1 She was born on 31 May 1826 in London.1 She was the daughter of Very Rev. James Webber and Caroline Frances Fynes-Clinton1 and is buried in Ripon Cathedral.1 Jemima Anne Caroline Webber died on 30 June 1840 in Ilkley, Yorkshire, at the age of 14.2
