Mrs. Clark was born in Amherst on June 6, 1884 and was the daughter of Dr. Frederic and Alice (Cooper) Tuckerman. She was educated as a young girl in Heidelberg, Ger., and later at Hull's School in Pittsfield and at the Burnham School in Northampton. Two sons, Holbrook Tuckerman Clark and Hugh Salisbury Clark survive as well as her husband and a sister, Miss Frederica Tuckerman of New Hampshire.2
