     Samuel Thorn was born in 1754.¹ He was the son of Thomas Thorn and Catharine Livingston.¹ Samuel Thorn married Helena Van Slyke.¹

     Thomas Thorn married Catharine Livingston, daughter of Gilbert Robert Livingston and Cornelia Beekman.¹

     William Jones Thorn married Jane Stinson Sewall, daughter of Rev. Jotham Sewall and Rachel Crosby Bradbury, on 12 September 1841 there were four children of the marriage.

     Thomas Thorne married Mary Purefoy.¹ Thomas Thorne made a will on 29 October 1588.¹ In this will he is called Thomas Dorne.¹

     Anna Mana Thornton was born on 27 February 1840 in Nr. Woodville, Mississippi.³ She was the daughter of Charles Augustus Thornton and Cornelia Virginia Randolph.³ Anna Mana Thornton married Philip Barton Key, son of Philip Barton Key Jr. and Maria Laura Sewall, on 30 April 1861 in Yalobusha County, Mississippi.² Anna Mana Thornton died on 22 April 1917 in Statesville, Iredell County, North Carolina, at the age of 77³ and is buried in the Oakwood Cemetery, Statesville, Iredell County, North Carolina.⁴

     James Bonaparte Thornton. U.S. Minister to Peru.² He was born on 11 May 1800.² He married Sophia Shepard. James Bonaparte Thornton died in 1836 in Lima, Peru.²

     Capt. James Brown Thornton was born circa 1771 calculated from his age at death. He married Ruth Sewall, daughter of Samuel Sewall and Hannah Moulton, on 27 December 1818 in York, Maine, (intentions recorded Saco 5 December 1818.)¹ Capt. James Brown Thornton died on 26 May 1825 in Saco, York County, Maine, s.p.²

     James Shephard Thornton was born in January 1827.¹ He was the son of James Bonaparte Thornton and Sophia Shepard.¹ James Shephard Thornton died in May 1875 in Germantown, Pennsylvania, at the age of 48.¹

     Joseph Gilbert Thorp was born on 17 August 1852 in Oxford, New York.¹ He was the son of Joseph Gilbert Thorp and Susan Amelia Chapman.¹ Joseph Gilbert Thorp married Annie Allegra Longfellow, daughter of Henry Wadsworth Longfellow and Frances Elizabeth Appleton, on 14 October 1885 in Cambridge, Massachusetts, at the time of his marriage he was "of Eau Claire, Wis."² Joseph Gilbert Thorp died on 5 May 1931 in Cambridge at the age of 78.¹

     Mary Evelyn Threlfall was born in 1875 in Wendover, Buckinghamshire.² She was the daughter of Charles Threlfall.³ Mary Evelyn Threlfall married firstly Vice Admiral Sir Raymond Fitzmaurice, K.B.E., D.S.O., son of John Gerald Fitzmaurice, on 31 January 1912 in Holy Trinity, Chelsea, London.^3,1 Mary Evelyn Threlfall died on 3 August 1914 in Malta.⁴

     Edward Allen Thurber was born on 28 May 1869 in Walpole, Norfolk County, Massachusetts.² He was the son of Rev. Edward Gerrish Thurber and Sarah Augusta Wood.¹

     Rev. Edward Gerrish Thurber was born on 28 May 1836 in Monroe, Michigan.^1,2 He was the son of Jefferson Gage Thurber and Mary Bartlett Gerrish.³ Rev. Edward Gerrish Thurber married Sarah Augusta Wood, daughter of Samuel Wood 2nd and Lydia Gerrish, on 5 September 1865 in Lebanon, New Hampshire.^1,4 Rev. Edward Gerrish Thurber died on 7 November 1913 in Manhattan, New York City, New York, at the age of 77.^1,2

     Jefferson Gage Thurber was born on 30 December 1807 in Unity, Sullivan County, New Hampshire.¹ He married Mary Bartlett Gerrish in 1834. Jefferson Gage Thurber died on 6 May 1857 in Monroe, Monroe County, Michigan, at the age of 49.¹
