Roger Sherman died on 23 July 1793 in New Haven, New Haven County, Connecticut, at the age of 723 and is now buried in Grove Street Cemetery, New Haven, New Haven County, Connecticut.4

A signer of the Declaration of Independence and U.S. Senator from Connecticut from 1791 until his death.
