     Hon. Roger Sherman was born on 19 April 1721 in Newton, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.¹ He married, as his second wife, Rebecca Prescott, daughter of Benjamin Prescott and Rebecca Minot, on 12 May 1763 at Danvers, Essex County, Massachusetts.² Hon. Roger Sherman died on 23 July 1793 in New Haven, New Haven County, Connecticut, at the age of 72³ and is now buried in Grove Street Cemetery, New Haven, New Haven County, Connecticut.⁴

     Sarah Sherman was born on 11 January 1783 in New Haven, Connecticut.¹ She was the daughter of Hon. Roger Sherman and Rebecca Prescott. Sarah Sherman married Samuel Hoar, son of Samuel Hoar and Susanna Peirce, on 13 October 1812. Sarah Sherman died on 29 August 1866 in Concord, Massachusetts, at the age of 83.¹

     Susan Altman Sherman was born in 1847 in New Brunswick, Canada.¹ She was the daughter of Caleb Sherman.² Susan Altman Sherman married Charles L. Berry.² Susan Altman Sherman died in 1925 in Maine¹ and is buried in Island Falls Cemetery, Island Falls, Maine.¹
