     Rev. Thomas Shepard was born on 5 November 1605 in Towcester, Northamptonshire.^1,2 He was the son of William Shepard and (unknown) Bland.³ Rev. Thomas Shepard graduated in 1627 M.A. (Cantab.), Emmanuel College.⁴ He married probably in Margaret Touteville on 23 July 1632 in Buttercrambe, Yorkshire.^2,5 Rev. Thomas Shepard emigrated on 10 August 1635 arriving in New England 3 October.² He married secondly Joanna Hooker, daughter of Rev. Thomas Hooker and Susannah Garbrand, in October 1637.⁶ Rev. Thomas Shepard married thirdly Margaret Boradaile, daughter of John Boradell, on 8 September 1647.^7,8 Rev. Thomas Shepard died on 25 August 1649 in Cambridge, Massachusetts, at the age of 43.^1,9

     Rev. Thomas Shepard. Congregational minister.² He was born on 5 April 1635 in London, England.³ He was the son of Rev. Thomas Shepard and Margaret Touteville.³ Rev. Thomas Shepard graduated in 1653 from Harvard BA.² He married Anna (or Hannah) Tyng, daughter of Capt. William Tyng and Elizabeth Coytemore, on 5 November 1656 in Charlestown and inherited Tyng's Mt. Wollaston Farm that later descended to Col. John Quincy and President John Quincy Adams. Thomas Shepard's land is mentioned in town records in 1673 when the road to Hough's Neck was laid out.^1,4,5 Rev. Thomas Shepard was ordained on 13 April 1659.⁶ He died on 22 December 1677 in Charlestown, Massachusetts, at the age of 42 having contracted smallpox from a dying parishioner who had requested a pastoral visit.²

     William Shepard. A grocer.² He was born in Fossecut, Northamptonshire.¹ He married firstly (unknown) Bland.¹ William Shepard is said to have died in 1614 in Towcester though Shepard has him die at his house in Banbury, Oxfordshire in 1615.^3,4

     William Shepard was baptised on 24 June 1660 at Charlestown.¹ He was the son of Rev. Thomas Shepard and Anna (or Hannah) Tyng.¹ William Shepard died before 1677.¹

     George B. Shepherd married Mary C. Parsons.¹

     Hannah Shepherd was born on 5 April 1726 in York, Maine.² She was the daughter of Mark Shepherd and Hannah Hilton.³ Hannah Shepherd married Deacon Andrew Dunning, son of William Dunning and Deborah Donnell, on 9 May 1751 in York.¹ Hannah Shepherd died on 28 December 1811 in Harpswell at the age of 85.²

     Jeanette Nicholls Shepherd married Philip R. Ridgeway, son of Philip Reynolds Ridgeway and Ann Wolcott, on 3 October 1827 in Northampton, Massachusetts.¹

     John Shepherd was born say 1590 in Somerset.² He married Margaret Squire, daughter of Henry Squire.¹ John Shepherd died circa September 1650 in Braintree, Massachusetts.²

     Marion D. Shepherd was born on 27 June 1877 in Rockport, Massachusetts.² She was the daughter of George B. Shepherd and Mary C. Parsons.¹ Marion D. Shepherd married Arthur Bradford Sewall, son of Levi Smith Sewall and Jane Campbell, on 3 October 1901 in Rockport, Massachusetts.¹ Marion D. Shepherd died on 1 February 1903 in Gloucester, Massachusetts, at the age of 25 of T.B.³ and is buried in Oak Grove Cemetery, Gloucester, Essex County, Massachusetts.⁴

     Mark Shepherd married Hannah Hilton.¹

     Hannah Wood Sheppard was born on 9 February 1820 in Wiscasset, Lincoln County, Maine. She was the daughter of John Hannibal Sheppard.¹ Hannah Wood Sheppard married Dr. Stephen Bayley Sewall, son of Rev. Jotham Sewall and Rachel Crosby Bradbury, on 28 May 1845 in Wiscasset, Maine.¹ Hannah Wood Sheppard died on 19 November 1862 in Wiscasset, Lincoln County, Maine, at the age of 42² and is buried in Woodlawn Cemetery, Wiscasset, Lincoln County, Maine.²

     Margery Sheppard of Okeley married Thomas Morton of Ingleton, son of Mathew Morton of Moreton and Isabella Knightley.¹

     Henry Sherburn married Mary Frost, daughter of Judge Simon Frost and Mercy Sewall, on 30 December 1779.^1,2

     Dorothy Sherburne was born on 20 August 1752.² She married John Wendell, son of Major John Wendell and Elizabeth Quincy, on 20 August 1779 in Portsmouth, Rockingham County, New Hampshire.^1,3,4 Dorothy Sherburne made a will on 19 May 1829 with probate on 20 March 1838.⁵ She died in 1837.

     Anna Sherman was the daughter of Caleb Sherman.¹ Anna Sherman died in Oakfield.¹

     Anne Sherman married John Angier.¹

     Caleb Sherman was born on 25 October 1824 in New Brunswick, Canada.² He married Mary Jane Bleakney. A native of New Brunswick; a farmer and lumberman.¹ Caleb Sherman died on 14 November 1902 in Oakfield, Maine, at the age of 78.²

     Caleb Ambrose Sherman was born on 9 August 1853.¹ He was the son of Caleb Sherman.² Caleb Ambrose Sherman married firstly Helan Brown. Caleb Ambrose Sherman died on 21 March 1925 at the age of 71¹ and is buried in Oakfield Cemetery, Oakfield, Maine.¹

     Charlcy Jauthinia Sherman was born on 27 April 1928 in Leedy, Oklahoma.² She married Robert Irwin Sewall, son of James Krouse Sewall and Trannie McKnight.¹ Charlcy Jauthinia Sherman died on 30 April 2005 in Henderson, Texas, at the age of 77.²

     Elizabeth Sherman was the daughter of Caleb Sherman.¹

     Elizabeth Sherman was born in 1765 in Connecticut.¹ She was the daughter of Hon. Roger Sherman and Rebecca Prescott. Elizabeth Sherman married Judge Simeon Baldwin in 1800.¹ Elizabeth Sherman died on 16 July 1850 in New Haven, Connecticut.^2,3

     Fred Sherman was the son of Caleb Sherman.¹ Fred Sherman. A farmer and merchant of Island Falls.¹

     Joseph Sherman was the son of Caleb Sherman.¹ Joseph Sherman. He had been a miner in the west and afterwards a farmer in Masardis.¹ He died in Masardis, Maine.¹

     Lavinia Sherman was the daughter of Caleb Sherman.¹ Lavinia Sherman died in Masardis.¹

     Mabel Sherman married William Dodge.¹

     Mary Alice Sherman was born on 2 August 1860 in Salisbury, New Brunswick, Canada.^3,2 She was the daughter of Caleb Sherman and Mary Jane Bleakney.^1,2 She moved with her parents, when she was three years old, to Aroostook County.¹ Mary Alice Sherman married William Wingate Sewall, son of Levi Sewall and Rebecca Alexander, on 1 January 1883.² Mary Alice Sherman appears on the census of 1930 at Island Falls, Aroostook, Maine, livng with her son Merrill and his family.⁴ She died on 7 May 1933 in Raymond, New Hampshire, at the age of 72⁵ and is buried in Island Falls Cemetery, Island Falls, Aroostook County, Maine.⁶

     Rebecca Sherman was born on 22 February 1764 in New Haven, New Haven County, Connecticut.^1,2 She was the daughter of Hon. Roger Sherman and Rebecca Prescott. Rebecca Sherman married Judge Simeon Baldwin in 1787. Rebecca Sherman died on 4 September 1795 in New Haven County, Connecticut, at the age of 31.³
