Mrs Snow a writer and lecturer and is a graduate of Vassar College and a former president of Worcester Vassar College Club and of Massachusetts and Worcester branches of the National League of American Pen Women. Princeton University published her translations from German into English poetry of the poems of Franz Werfel.
Mr Sewall is a candidate for treasurer of Androscoggin County in the June primaries. He is a graduate of Williston Academy and attended University of California. He was with the Civic Board of Underwriters in San Francisco for several years and was in the real estate and timber business in Livermore Falls until recently. He is an organizer and director of Wilson Lake Country Club Wilton, treasurer of the First Universalist Church and of Livermore Public Library, a member of the finance committee of Central Maine Girl Scout Council and a past president of Livermore Falls Chamber of Commerce. Prominent In Masonic circles he is treasurer of Oriental Star Lodge, treasurer of Androscoggin Royal Arch Chapter 34 of Maine. Sir Knight in Pilgrim Commandery Noble of Kora Order of the Mystic Shrine, a member of the Fish and Game Protective Association Livermore, and representative of the Second Congressional District of the Republican Committee of Maine.3
Eugene Hayes Sewall married Edith Brainerd Abercrombie on 2 June 1950 in Worcester, Massachusetts.4 Eugene Hayes Sewall died in February 1986 in Livermore Falls, Androscoggin, Maine, at the age of 94.5

EUGENE HAYES SEWALL Both the development of the real estate and the lumber interests of Livermore Falls have occupied the expert attention of Eugene Hayes Sewall for by far the larger portion of his business career, this region having produced no better known factor in either line, or one who has more completely familiarized himself with the conditions relating to each line of business. He is a son of Eugene Sewall, long engaged in the lumber business, who was born December 29, 1831, and died December 3, 1906, and of Fannie (Weston) Sewall, who was born at Madison in September, 1848, and died in June, 1921.
Eugene Hayes Sewall was born December 21, 1891, at Livermore Falls, where he attended grammar and high schools, and then graduated at Williston Seminary in the class of 1910. With the exception of the years 1917-1921, while he was identified with the Pacific Board of Underwriters, at San Francisco, California, Mr. Sewall has given his entire attention to his lumber and real estate business at Livermore Falls.
In the political field, Mr. Sewall is an Independent voter. Fraternally, he is affiliated with Oriental Star Lodge, Free and Accepted Masons; with Androscoggin Chapter, Royal Arch Masons; Pilgrim Commandery, Knights Templar; and with Kora Temple, Ancient Arabic Order Nobles of the Mystic Shrine; and he holds the office of president of the Livermore Falls Automobile Dealers Association. His religious faith is that of the Universalist church, of which he was formerly a trustee.

Eunice Day Sewall1

     Eunice Day Sewall was born on 20 August 1837 in Portland, Maine, (Sinnett gives a date of 21 February 1838.)1,2 She was the daughter of Kiah Bayley Sewall and Lucretia Day.1 Eunice Day Sewall died on 19 October 1918 at the age of 813 and is buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Portland, Cumberland County, Maine.3 At the Freehold Young Ladies' Seminary, Freehold, Monmouth County, New Jersey,

Eunice Sewall, a graduate and librarian of Vassar College was engaged as Principal and taught English history, Latin, and literature and Ada Sewall, her sister, was also employed as a teacher. They are both described as being of Portland, Maine. In 1864 she was teaching in Choctaw County, Alabama from where she wrote to her father, concerned by the Union blockade of Mobile Bay and shortages of food and other supplies.4

Eva Littlefield Sewall1

     Eva Littlefield Sewall was born on 19 October 1925 in Mount Kisco, New York.1,2 She was the daughter of Joseph Osgood Sewall and Mary Bremble.1 Eva Littlefield Sewall died on 1 July 2010 in Plainfield, New Jersey, at the age of 84

Eva L. Sewall, 84, died Thursday, July 1, 2010 at The Woodlands in Plain-field. Born in Mount Kisco, N. Y., she lived in North Plainfield before moving to the Woodlands 7 years ago. Mrs. Sewall worked as a Registered Nurse at Runnell's Hospital in Berkeley Heights, and later went on to work in private duty nursing in the Plainfield area. She is survived by her brother-in-law, Alfred Guzzetti of Watchung and her nephew, John Baehr of Edison. A memorial service will be held at Cedarcroft Bible Chapel, 1715 Kenyon Ave., South Plainfield, on Tuesday at 7p.m.2
