Sir Robert Needham of Shevington1

Sir Robert Needham of Shevington was born in 1535.2 He was the son of Thomas Needham and Ann Talbot.3 He was three times High Sheriff of the county of Salop, in 1563-4, 1585-6, and 1594-5. He also had important commands in the war in Ireland and was Vice-President of the Council in the Marches of Wales.4 Sir Robert Needham of Shevington married Frances Aston, daughter of Sir Edward Aston of Tixall, before 1558.3,5 Sir Robert Needham of Shevington was buried on 18 December 1603 in Adderley, Shropshire.
