McLeod in 1915.4 Ora Maddocks married John M. Thompson on 29 January 1919 in Barre, Washington, Vermont.5 Ora Maddocks died on 5 June 1949 in Auburn, Maine, at the age of 74.4

AUBURN. June 5 — Mrs Ora McLeod, 74, of 65 Spring street, Auburn, died at her home today after an illness of several weeks. She was born in Dixmont, Dec. 26, 1874, daughter of Henry and Frances Sewall Maddocks. She came to Auburn 13 years ago from Portsmouth. N.H., and has worked all of that time in Auburn shoe plants.
In 1890, she married Elden Young in Corinna. He died in 1900. In 1915, she married John M. McLeod, who died a year after their marriage.
She is survived by two sons by her first marriage, Maynard L. Young, of Newcastle. N.H., and Leslie E. of Auburn; two sisters, Mrs Mary Worthing, of Bangor, and Mrs. Frances Hows, of Dixmont; several nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
She was a member of the Liberty Rebekah lodge of Auburn; the Auburn grange, and the Pythian Sisters of Portsmouth, N.H.
Funeral services will be conducted from the Memorial chapel of Dillingham and Son, Tuesday, at 1:30 p.m. Burial will be in Mt. Auburn cemetery, Auburn.4
