Survived by daughter, Angela (Steve) Deckers; sisters, Bonnie and Rachel; and two grandchildren. Born and raised in Crosby-Ironton MN, Carole was widowed at a young age with a two year old daughter. Carole returned to school for her Master's degree and continued teaching for 32 years, 26 in the Hopkins School District. She loved piano, singing, bowling, garage sales, and most of all, her family and friends. Carole was a relentless and optimistic fighter throughout numerous health challenges later in life. Carole lived her final 4 years in Idaho near her daughter and grandchildren. She will always be remembered for her joy of life and passion for educating our youth.3
