Janeway's father is Edward C. Janeway of South Londonderry, Vt., a former Republican national committeeman.
He was vice president of Delta Market and Shipping Co., a firm specializing in shipping sulphur products.
He was a graduate of Yale and made his residence in Cold Spring Harbor.
Surviving are his wife, Cynthia; two sons, Theodore C. Jr. and Sewall. Also a daughter, Ashley.
He also leaves his mother, Mrs. Elinor Janeway of South Londonderry and three sisters in Massachusetts, Mrs. William Athorp of Concord, Mrs. Thomas Sherwood of Manchester and Betsy Janeway of Lancaster.
Also two brothers, Edward J. of Lexington, Mass. and Harold of Bedford, N.Y.
He was a nephew of Dr. Charles A. Janeway, physician-in-chief, Children's Hospital Medical Center, Boston.6
