     Mercy Gibbs was born on 23 December 1696 in Watertown, Massachusetts.¹ She married Rev. Benjamin Prescott, son of Jonathan Prescott and Elizabeth Hoar, on 15 July 1732.² Mercy Gibbs died on 18 December 1744 in Salem, Massachusetts, at the age of 47.¹

     Oliver Wolcott Gibbs was born in 1902.¹ He was the son of Lucius Tuckerman Gibbs and Angelica Singleton Duer.¹ Oliver Wolcott Gibbs died on 16 August 1958 in Manhattan, New York.²
