My brother Charles to have the income of 1/2 my estate. The other half between my nephews and neices, Samuel Chauncey, Sarah Moore, Elizabeth Clark, Mary Cutts, Joanna Perry, and Lucy Chauncey. On the death of my brother I give the half of real and personal estate to my nephew, John Greenleaf and my neices, Elizabeth Parsons, Mary Greenleaf, Hannah, and Jane Greenleaf.1 Probate was granted on 30 July 1799.1

Aileen Sewall of Whispering Oaks, Hermitage, formerly of New Wilmington, passed away early Monday morning, Feb. 4, 2013, in the hospital of Sharon Regional Health System after a brief illness. She was 91.
Mrs. Sewall was born Oct. 17, 1921, in New Castle, a daughter of Carl F. Cheers and Elsie Hall Cheers, who preceded her in death, as did three sisters, Mildred, Marjory and Linda.
She was valedictorian of the 1938 class at New Wilmington High School and was an alumna of a two-year program at Westminster College, New Wilmington.
In 1943, she married her high school sweetheart, David "Shorty" Sewall, who preceded her in death in 1994. They were the parents of two sons, Rick Sewall, Haddonfield, N.J; and the Rev. Dale Sewall, Mercer Island, Wash; and a daughter, Jill Duffy, Lowellville, Ohio, all of whom survive.
She is also survived by eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, as well as a number of nieces and nephews.
For a number of years, Mrs. Sewall served as an executive secretary at Wilmington Area High School and then at Westminster College.
She was active in church activities and served as an elder at Neshannock Presbyterian Church, New Wilmington.
Among other activities, Mrs. Sewall taught 4-H classes and was active in Al-Anon.
She was a woman of deep faith and much wisdom and an inspiration to her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and others. She read the entire Bible every year for more than 60 years.4
