     Dr. Percy Warren was born on 9 July 1855 in Bangor, Maine.2 He was the son of Asa Warren and Almira Blaisdell.3 Dr. Percy Warren graduated in 1879 from Bowdoin. He married Francella Sewall, daughter of Egbert Thatcher Sewall and Elizabeth Gove Cunningham, on 13 June 1888 in Methuen, Massachusetts.3 Dr. Percy Warren appears on the census of 23 April 1930 at Hollywood, Florida, where he is staying with William Chandler and his wife. He is listed as a widower.4 He died on 24 January 1933 in Portland at the age of 77.5

In 1832 the Vicar of Tolpuddle, the Rev Thomas Warren, betrayed the agricultural workers of Tolpuddle. He did this by first acting as a witness to an agreement between farm labourers and land owners for a fair wage, and then denying any such agreement, when the land owners went back on their promises.3
