William Selby1

M, b. 16 June 1869, d. 8 September 1916
     William Selby was born on 16 June 1869 in Dunedin, New Zealand.2 He was the son of Prideaux Selby and Rose Anne Wise.1,3 William Selby appeared in the 1891 census at Teynham, Kent. Where he is listed as a medical student. He is living with his brother Prideaux.1 He married Eliza Kinsman (Lilly) Benjamin, daughter of Frederick Benjamin, on 30 October 1896 in Kurrachee, India.4 William Selby died on 8 September 1916 in Lucknow, India, at the age of 47.2

Rector of Bradfield St. Clare 1626-33 and of Great Welnetham, Suffolk, September-October 1633, rector of Didcot, Berkshire, 1621-32.2 John Seller died before May 1632 when a new rector was instituted at Didcot.

Rev. John Seller1

     In 1568 he became a scholar at Corpus Christi College, B.A. 15 November 1570, fellow the same year, M.A. 4 October 1573, B.D. 11 December 1581. Licenced to preach 1584; vicar of Eastry 1581, rector of Eythorne 1583, and of Saltwood (all in Kent), 1596.2 Rev. John Seller married Anne Cranmer, daughter of Thomas Cranmer and Anne Carpenter, on 10 April 1581 in St. Mildred's, Cantebury, (Waters notes that the date is 1581 in the parish register, but 1591 in the transcript.)3 Rev. John Seller died in 1614.4 He was buried on 18 October 1614 in Canterbury Cathedral.4

Ann Sember1

     Ann Sember was born on 25 November 1925 in Sharon, Pennsylvania.1 She was the daughter of Michael Sember and Anna Bulina. Ann Sember married Glenn Gordon Sewall, son of James Clarence Sewall and Eva Viola Angell, on 7 November 1952.1 Ann Sember died on 15 April 2002 in West Salem Township at the age of 76.1
A funeral service will be held Thursday for Ann Sember Sewall, 65 Hermitage Hills Blvd., Hermitage. She died at 1:35 p.m. Monday, April 15, 2002, in St. Paul Homes, West Salem Township, after an extended illness. She was 76.

Mrs. Sewall was born Nov. 25, 1925, in Sharon to Michael Sember and Anna Bulina Sember.

She graduated in 1943 from Sharpsville High School and worked for the former Sharon Transformer Division of Westinghouse Electric Corp. as a supervisor from 1943-1983.

As a member since 1952 of First United Methodist Church in Sharpsville, Mrs. Sewall served on many boards, sang in the choir and was a member to the Methodist Women's Society.

She belonged to two bowling leagues, the Retirees League in Reynolds and JYNX League in Hermitage.

Mrs. Sewall also belonged for 10 years to the American Brittany Club, an association for dog owners, and enjoyed participating in dog field trials.

She loved dancing and listening to her husband's country and western group, the Keystone Pioneers.

Her husband, Glenn G. Sewall, whom she married Nov. 7, 1952, died in September 1994.

Surviving are: two stepdaughters, Kathy Sewall, Cranberry Township, Butler County; and Mrs. James (Karen) Bennington, Mercer; a sister, Mary Stahl, Sharpsville; three brothers, Michael and his wife Mary Sember, Warren, Ohio; and George and his wife Betty Sember; and Theodore Sember, all Sharpsville; three grandchildren, Jim A. Bennington, Mercer; Beth Bennington, Pittsburgh; and Mrs. Mark (Carrie L.) Sobieski, Conneaut Lake; and six great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband, Mrs. Sewall was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, William and John Sember.1
