MRS MIRIAM PHILLIPS BLAGDEN, wife of Rev. G.W. Blagden. D.D., late senior pastor of the Old South Church in this city, died at her home in Bowdoln street, on Sunday morning, in the 69th year of her age. Her loss will he regretted by an extended circle of acquaintances. Mrs Blagden was the youngest daughter of the late John Phillips, first Mayor of Boston, and a sister of Wendell Phillips. She leaves in her own intimate family, besides her husband, four sons and a daughter. Mrs Blagden has suffered from sciatica and been in ill-health for the last two years, but the immediate cause of her death was a paralytic shock. The funeral will take place to-morrow noon, at Mount Vernon Church. Ashburton place. Rev. Dr Manning, of the Old South Church, and Rev. Mr Means, of Dorchester, officiating at the brief services.3
