Aaron Cleveland, son of Aaron Cleveland and Abigail Waters, on 4 August 1739 in Medford.4,5 In 1757 as Cleveland's widow she received the remainder of his salary plus £50 from the Society for the Propagation of the Gospel and, with the aid of Judge Stphen Sewall, opened a shop in Salem. Susanna Porter died on 28 March 1788 in Salem, Massachusetts, at the age of 71.2
