Mustered out on 16 Nov 1864 at Readville, MA.2 Howard Goldsmith married Ellen Maria Sewall, daughter of Levi Sewall and Mary Ann Robards, on 16 October 1866 in Rockport, Massachusetts.1 Howard Goldsmith died on 26 November 1920 in Winthrop, Suffolk County, Massachusetts, at the age of 80.3
Margaret Goldsmith was the daughter of Edmund Goldsmith of Salford. Margaret Goldsmith married Richard Nugent in November 1582. In 1626 she gave two chalices to Manchester Cathedral. Margaret Goldsmith was buried on 10 February 1630/31 in The Collegiate Church, Manchester.
