     Isabella Geddes was born on 24 August 1812.1 She was the daughter of Dr. James Geddes and Sarah Hannah Boies.1 Isabella Geddes married Dr. Stephen Charles Sewell MD, LRCS, son of Stephen Sewell K.C. and Jane Caldwell, on 8 July 1840 in the residence of Charles Geddes, St. James Place, Montréal, the marriage bond is dated 3 July 1840. They had several children all of whom died s.p.2,3 Isabella Geddes died on 24 May 1889 in Montréal at the age of 76.4 She was buried on 26 May 1889 in Montréal.4

The bride's name is spelt How in the record.1 Catherine George is also recorded as Katherine Lee this lady is also variously recorded as Katherine Lee-Howell, dau Samuel Lee and widow Henry Howell.4 She died on 16 December 1768 in Boston, Massachusetts, "aged 79."5

     Arthur Mildmay Gepp. Tea merchant.2 He was born on 6 December 1843 in Chelmsford, Essex.3 He was the son of Thomas Morgan Gepp.1 Arthur Mildmay Gepp married Maria Merelina Symonds Tindal, daughter of Vice-Admiral Louis Symonds Tindal and Henrietta Maria O'Donel White, on 15 January 1876 in Hove Parish Church, Brighton, Sussex.4,5 On 11 September 1880 An order was made annulling Gepp's bankruptcy of the previous year.6
Maria Merelina Symonds Tindal filed for divorce from Arthur Mildmay Gepp on 18 December 1908 at London; On the grounds of the husband's desertion and adultery. The decree absolute was made on 20 December 1909.7 He died on 3 October 1917 at The Sacred Heart Hospice, Sydney, New South Wales, at the age of 73.8
