     Dorcas Cushman was born on 31 December 1794 in Sumner, Maine.2,3 She was the daughter of Isaiah Cushman Jr. and Sarah Ripley.1 Dorcas Cushman married John Milton Sewall, son of Rev. Samuel M. Sewall and Mary Lambard, on 30 November 1820 (intention Sumner 1 November 1820.)2,3 Dorcas Cushman died on 18 October 1883 in Sumner, Oxford, Maine, at the age of 88 she was living with her son William at the time of the 1880 Census. The newspaper notice gives no date of death but gives her age as 89.4,5,6

     Isaiah Cushman Jr. was born on 6 February 1757 in Plympton, Massachusetts.1,2 He was the son of Isaiah Cushman and Sarah Ring.1 Isaiah Cushman Jr. married Sarah Ripley, daughter of William Ripley and Lydia Ring, on 14 September 1778 (they were second cousins.)2,3 He was placed on the pension roll, 1832, for two years actual service as a private in the Massachusetts line.1 Isaiah Cushman Jr. died on 8 January 1841 in Sumner, Maine, at the age of 83.3

Cutler & Co., wholesale and retail dealers in paints and oils in Boston.2 He was born on 3 June 1818 in Winchendon, Massachusetts.3 He was the son of Dr. William H. Cutler and Abigail Lowe.1 Abraham Lowe Cutler married Harriet Hyde Sewall, daughter of William Dunning Sewall and Rachel Allen Trufant, on 30 October 1844 in Bath, Sagadahoc, Maine.4 Abraham Lowe Cutler appears on the census of 1880 at Brookline, Norfolk County, Massachusetts, as a Wholesale druggist.5 He died on 12 December 1904 in Chestnut Place, Brookline, Massachusetts, at the age of 86.3
